man, spring kicked in in big style this week. its only about 20 C, but here it just feels so much hotter. i havent been around on here much cos i took a few days holiday. and did i go anywhere? you bet, 5 consecutive days of golf across on the north shore. FANTASTIC

remember those shots of devonport where i said it was where the NZ navy had their base. well these are the cannon there to protect against marauding invaders. problem isd they face south back to the city and not north out to sea whats that all about then.

sunday series of things that swim continues, and this one is topical. a big great white was pulled out of the ocean just off NZ 2 days ago, the day before a big world surfing event at the nearby beach

Devonport

ive posted lots of fotos from devonport previoulsy. its the little town just over the harbour bridge from Auckland which has great views back at the city. These shots are from a different angle, looking north instead of south back to the city. This is where the navy had their defenses set up, but who`s gonna attack NZ ???? its too far from everywhere
